Super authentic German style cuisine. Highly recommend!! Amazing beer, schnitzel and bratwurst how can you go wrong!!!!
I made a quick stop for lunch on my way to Oxnard. I'm glad I did, the ambiance is adorable, food is pretty good. The place is a lot bigger than it presumed to be.
The Greatest Schnitzel I have ever had. Authentic German cuisine!! Large beer selection. I definitely dig the hole in the wall decor, definitely my go-to spot. By the way the reason it's called Dutch gardens is because it was open in 1925. They changed the name during World War II because Germans were kind of frowned during the 1940's in America.
Great German food. Not very kid friendly. Service was very good
The Dutch Garden is BACK! Pretty much the same menu, nice selection of Belgian German beers, (prices increased, as expected) but they didn 't mess with a good thing. Slightly updated dining room, patio garden improved still with the charming original little seats at the lunch counter. Will update with pics and more thoughts on food next time. Oh yeah, thought we 'd arrive at 11:45 on a Thursday to beat the rush but that didn 't work. Parking is an issue, but glad to see the place busy.
