The food was very good. We got crab soup with fish maw, spicy catfish, and garlic on choy. Parking was easy. The waiters were very helpful, they helped us with the menu packed our leftovers. We'll try their other dishes when we're in that area.Food: 5/5 View all feedback.
What Shana Bogisich doesn't like about Tan Cang Newport Seafood :
Pretty huge rip off. $200 for some lobster noodles. Sure the lobster is tasty but is it worth it? No. Waiter didn?t even tell us how big the lobster would be so we were stuck with this bill. Save your money and go elsewhere View all feedback.
Arrived at the restaurant at 645 am and immediately found a parking place. We sat outside on the terrace where they placed many heating due to the temperature change in the evening. Our waiter was super friendly and helpful. We ordered the serrated Ong Choy along with the special lobster with garlic sauce and pepper over noodles and the crab baked in tamarind sauce. The waiter put a little lobster on our table and we were grateful because the court was bigger than we thought. The crab shell was soft and we could get the crab meat without additional utensils. The lobster was soft and tasty; the noodles add an additional note to the dish. The Ong Choy would have used some more spices, but it wasn't boiled excessively. The waiter told us that this restaurant has been opened for 40 years. Note that there is another restaurant with almost the same exact name as this restaurant, but that you are not the original.
If you are looking for massively large portions of lobster, this is your place. Typical Chinese seafood options on the menu that comes with set menu options, depending on your group size, but the thing that comes here is the lobster. Our were 8lbs per lobster and were served with noodles. Delicious and ready for simple food.
Great food. Service beyond and above, very attentive and polite. Lobster is a must!
The lobster was okay. The meat itself wasn't great. The taste used was pretty good. Kung Pao Huhn didn't have the kick I was looking for. I liked how they baked the meat. They delivered rice that was brilliant. This place is really meant to gather for families and friends. When you come solo, prepare to bring a lot of food home.
