Stella Mare's - Santa Ana

Was here on Saturday after Thanksgiving 2022 and the lunch was full, but not crowded. Service was promptly the ambience was fantastic and the food was brilliant. The greenhouse liked it right next to the Victorian interior. Even outdoors the weather was good when we were there. We had duck jam, mussels, escargots and vol au vent there were all really good.

Love this place! Absolutely has to eat here when in Santa Barabara!! Eating is always on the point so much so that I rarely post pictures before I dig in, here are a few of the desserts and the youngest Ribeye special that was perfectly cooked. Go to Stella, you won't be disappointed!

Nice restaurant with French cuisine. Restaurant had a homely look and feeling...Charming. The service was very good. Food was really good and hot. Appetizer frog legs were soft and had the right sauce.

Very pretty. Eating was pretty good, but depth lacked and flavors not too. Service very good. atmosphere great. The prices for fine food to expect and were in the $30s Cassoulet had a lot of beans and meat. There was still a little depth, taste. Duck was decent, but could use more crispy. The meat was a little strange. Decent piece size. Lammschaft-Fava beans were nice, good portion, but a little fat. needed a severity and that was missing. Risotto was Bland. helped that the goat cheese was swirled. Again lacking depth and taste. Kombo of Veggies a little strange. Frog legs. Tomato relish with him was strange taste. frog legs even quite small compared to others I had. $16 Enjoy total, but would probably not return. came from the Cassoulet, which is very difficult to find.

Not a fan of French food but this place is definitely a gem. Quality, delicious food on a budget. The environment is pretty chill and casual which I like a lot. I?ll recommend their braised chicken and duck confit.
