Traditional Japanese Kaiseki Fine Dining carefully prepared by Chef Yoshi from Yokohama. Most of fish and fresh seafood are ordered daily from the Tsukiji Market in Japan. Several sake selections are also imported. If you are in California, you couldn't miss this place. You will be surprised with the price for this entire 7-course dinner menu. Worth every penny! The best Japanese ever had in the US! View all feedback.
What Sam Taus doesn't like about Yoichi's:
It’s a pre-fix high price place. A small amount of food I am used to with Japanese, but it just didn’t seem that high quality unfortunately. The dishes weren’t very tasty, and I went in really wanting to like it. The ambiance and service are really solid, unfortunately the food just wasn’t there, ESPECIALLY for the price. Best restaurant in Santa Barbara! Authentic kaiseki, as good as the best meals I’ve had in Japan!
If you're in Santa Barbara, you must treat yourself to their tasting menu! So thoughtfully prepared one of the best meals I have ever had. The fish is just incredible, and their seasonal menu changes monthly. Best sashimi I've ever had!
Excellent quality! The best in Santa Barbara! Truly.
Our family had a wonderful dinner at Yoichi's last night. The food was both beautiful and delicious and the service was excellent. Santa Barbara should be honored to have such a special restaurant in the community.
