Hot Dog On A Stick - Santa Ana

I came to get food. I saw the girl in the back scrubbing the drain on the floor with a brush. She then proceeded to come out and take my order. After that, she started touching the food without washing her hands! You just touched the floor and chemicals, then touched food. Unacceptable. TRAIN YOUR STAFF ON FOOD SAFETY!

WORST customer service! came in about a week ago, and ordered my daughter a corn dog and French fry. As I was sitting and waiting for our food, I notice it's been over 10 minutes and nobody else was waiting or ordering...the cashier was laughing and chatting with her friends and another employee who was off the clock but still behind the counter in regular street clothes. I finally walk up, and ask how much longer it's going to be.. the cashier Giana tells me probably about ANOTHER 10 minutes they're having difficulties.... and continue to talk to her friends. I was very upset and wanted a refund, mostly because they never came and told me about their difficulties and it would be even longer. They were too busy chatting with friends over the counter than letting me know they weren't able to have my food ready anytime soon. My daughter was crying and wasn't going to wait 20 30 minutes for a corndog. The other girl I think her name was Taryn, unless I was lied to who was in regular clothes but still walking around behind the counter was sooo rude and so unprofessional. They had inappropriate language and did not care who was around or care about the customer service. 30 minutes for a corn dog and bad attitudes from the workers! such a shame!

Typically I give reviews on the quality of the food, bit today going to give a quick went of appreciation to Israel at Hot Dog on a Stick in MainPlace Mall. This guy was going solo with a line about 10 people long, and not once did he lose his cool, compromise service, or become overwhelmed. Every order was delivered systematically on time, and was hot and fresh. He had the process down to a science and not once did I feel like I was waiting. The hot dogs are always good here, bit this time, Israel made a difficult situation seem flawless and it kicked up the notch on typical fast food. People like this are hard to find... Show him your appreciation too.

Fresh corn bread cooked on a top notch hot dog on a stick. fresh made lemonade to go with it! Love this place. They have spoiled me with corn dogs. I cant eat a frozen corn dog again!

Monica was very nice and genuinely seemed to like her job! She was knowledgeable and attentive. I hope management gives her the props she deserves. Thanks Monica!
