The food is excellent. Vegan options are limited but they always have something good. The major drawback is the extraordinary wait times: we waited just shy of two hours to get seated (they don't take reservations for lunch). View all feedback.
What Jarret Lebsack doesn't like about Cafe Pasqual's:
we had the mol of enchiladas who were delicious and spicy. just another vegan option, a veggie burger, but the bungalow is not vegan disappointing. we had a side of reis and drilling and a jicama salad that were a nice supplement. but the meal was $29! so much not worth. View all feedback.
Works if they have a mixed vegan/non-vegan group. they were flexible and worked with us. I had avocado toast on same brot with black bran and tofu chorizo. one day my man had the burrito and slammed another. everything we are very good.
Emigrated for a fast vegan brunch and were quite satisfied with the vegan breakfast burrito and tofu chorizo scramble. both had a lot of green chile! large vegetarian options, but more limited (2-3) vegan options. a good stop for a delicious breakfast or lunch.
We went with the parents of my partners to this caffe when they were in the city. the atmosphere was excellent, but the vegan options were minimal. we almost all ordered, and we were underwhelmed. our favourite dish was the hot portabello mushroom salad. we also enjoyed the plantain chips. without the enchiladas I could have done that.

It is uncommon to find a gourmet place that caters to vegans outside the biggest cities- this was on par with the better gourmet vegan restaurants in New York (note, a few entrees are vegan, not the whole menu) The Mole Enchilada with Tofu was fantastic. In 2019, 2 adults 2 kids ran us about $100 before tip. It was worth the price. For me the portion size was fine. Still, don't come here if you're buying food by the pound, come here for the expertly refined sauces.
