The restaurant with outdoor seating is directly overlooking the sea in the wonderful village of Combarro. The menu was varied and wide ranging but we merely wanted a drink and a dessert or cake. The staff/ owner was most helpful and brought a range of home made desserts to the table so we could choose, and described the ingredients. It was a difficult choice because all looked absolutely delicious, but we managed! The price was so reasonable and quality was very good. He later proudly told us that his wife had made the desserts, when we complimented him on them.
We had a seafood lunch at the very waterfront with a marvellous view which couldn 't but added to that carpe diem feeling. All the dishes we had were absolute stunners beginning with grilled sardines followed by large fried prawns and ubiquitous and savoury little green peppers called here pimentos . The main event was a hugely successful fried turbot. I wouldn 't say the above was worth dying for as food is supposed to support life and be enjoyed, but it came close. Not to forget excellent service and reasonable bill. In all, a memory to cherish.
Cute restaurant right by the ocean. It has a gorgeous outdoor seating area, so dogs are welcome. The outdoor seating area walks straight to the dock, so you can view the amazing waterside houses. Friendly service too. Unfortunately we didn’t eat there because it was rather expensive.
We had a great meal, we were sitting outside with a view over the harbour. The owner, Alberto, looked after us very well and all the staff were very friendly.
