This restaurant has never let us down over the years. Food is unique and exceptional. And if you want to learn first class service, this is the place. The view is a bonus. View all feedback.
What nawetherbee doesn't like about Omeros on the Beach:
The food was appalling. Entree prawns tasted frozen and just fried in poor batter. Scallops were overcooked in a sauce that’s flavour overpowered the scallop. Basically thick cream. All sauce few scallops.Fish and chips just like Mc Donald’s . Poor presentation . Seventies dinner plates and a loud rude waitress who presented the bill before we asked for it as they only had 2 other customers and she wanted to leave ea... View all feedback.
Mid week visit to Sydney - lunched at Omeros yesterday on our way back to the airport. What a lovely surprise. We had a wonderful experience. The staff were fabulous - we didn't have a booking but were immediately made to feel welcome & given a lovely seat by the window. Highly recommend the scallops with figs & honey entrée - so good. All our courses were excellent. Perfectly prepared Crème Brulee for dessert and accompanied by a perfect latte. Will be looking for an excuse to revisit.
A regular spot for some of the family, who were excited to have us share the experience. Great food, menu does change so can expect new dishes from time to time. Snapper was great as was Barramundi. Quite a few $$, although a lot of prep work involved in these dishes. Kids enjoyed their Schnitzel. Staff were excellent, made a real effort to ensure all were comfortable. Great view outside of the bay.
We celebrated our engagement at Omeros on Sunday for lunch in the parkview room and everything was perfect. Our waitor was always very attentive and even helped us with setting up the decorations. The food was delicious and plentiful. Everyone left full and super happy! Thank you to John for helping out with wine suggestions and ensuring a great day for everyone!
I attended with my husband and another couple for Sunday lunch to sus the place out before booking it for a large function. The restaurant itself is located in a great spot on the water with plenty of parking nearby. The restaurant is bright and airy surrounded by glass making it a very relaxing place to enjoy a meal. The service was impeccable, our waiter very attentive without being annoying, the owner John introducing himself. The food was lovely and fresh. Started with garlic bread and haloumi with figs. We had the scallops, prawn salad, octopus and smoked trout salad for entrees and passed them around to taste everything. Scallops were my favourite. Mains we had the beef cheeks which melted like butter and the mash potato was to die for, Snapper and garlic prawns. The garlic prawns were a little heavy for my liking with the cream and rice. For dessert we had the creme brûlée and baklava ice cream. The meal was very enjoyable. Needless to say we booked our function and I look forward to eating there again!
We were greeted by the owner, John, and given a table right at the window with a view of the water and city skyline - a perfect introduction to the restaurant! Our waiter, Richard, was very professional and attentive. Food was excellent. The lemon polenta croquettes and the fish and chips were amazing. Highly recommend. 5 out of 5 Omeros!
