Cafe Rheingold - Sankt Goarshausen

Beautiful location right on the Rhine. sitting on the roof terrace. the food was delicious (fresh pfifferlings with tagliatelle) and we had really not to wait long. the selection of vegetarians is unfortunately very good to manage. but this applies to almost all restaurants in sankt Goarshausen/Sankt goar.

Very great location on the Rhine with super view from the beautiful terrace, service very nice, have eaten there 3 times and eating was always top like another beautiful mosel wine, view on weinberge, loreley ferry and burgen. what they want more ; only a few hundred meters further is the loreley rocks and they can highly recommend driving this stretch just further direction, in kaub they can translate with the ferry, but it is worth to tie and transfer because the whole Rhine medium is a fantastic experience:

The food (we had the vegetable plate with potatoes, grill plate and hunter carving came fast, was much and very good. The service (the boss? very friendly, although it was certainly very stressed as the only service. On the plates there was a little attention, after dinner there was a liqueur at the expense of the house, again thank you! The restaurant is located directly on the Rhine with beautiful views, the complex is already older, as well as the toilets, but everything is very well maintained and clean. You're welcome. We stayed here for two in the summer. As has been described before, we had to wait very long until the card was even taken. The service was very stressed, overwhelmed and didn't seem friendly. After we had the card, no one came. We've been forgotten, even though she went past the table several times. Unfortunately, she had flaps and did not look left or right, so our Winken found no attention. At some point another lady came from the place, noticed that our table was still empty and picked up the order. The food was in the end edible but nothing special. We were back to the Rhine in flames and suddenly it started to shake. We were looking for protection under one of the umbrellas on the terrace, just like many others. Due to the weather, no one of the guests has risen or got new, but if it had been, of course we would have cleared the screen for the new guests (we did not sit at the table, stood only in a corner of the screen) After a time, the service force came and whipped us to which we were supposed to leave the umbrella and had nothing to look for, as we would take the place away from the guests. It shakes like from Eimers and it was not a guest in sight. We then asked if she might have a place inside for us because it was also very cold. We would have consumed something inside. Then they said they had to go inside and look and went back. Wow here is service and kindness really great. This is also very good at the depreciating comments of the owner on the negative recessions. Very unprofessional and not at all worth estimating the clientele. Better accept the criticism and not put down all the dissatisfied guests! It seems that there are some and no exceptions. Because whoever reads your comments will never be your guest. If the situation were not an absolute note 1, there would be no reason to return here. We'd rather get into the rain than leave a single euro here.
