What User doesn't like about Pinocchio's:
the ice was fair in taste, but it was full of sugar and fake aromen; not something I would expect to be listed on health conscious happycow. Although I thought that I saw somewhere a sign that called the place an Italian ice-laden, it was unclear whether all aromene ice-based and milk-free were or not, as there was no demarcation. Moreover, the syrups they use are fake imitations of fruits and chocolates and not the... View all feedback.
I mean crazy, obnoxily huge. I ordered a rainbow cup and had at least 5 pots of sorbet. I don't want to be a party pot, but it seemed wasting mainly when ppl, the ice cream ordered, throw away pots that some poor dairy cows suffered to produce magically. You should warn people about supergluing. They had orange, lemon watermelon sorbet. Very refreshing on a hot day. My favorite was her cocoa-orange taste. That was gourmet. However, I was disappointed that none of the Sorbets were not airy or vegan marked. Aldo, with so many amazing rice, coconut soy ice cream now available days it seems ridiculous they do not offer at least a taste of non-dairy ice cream.

The ice cream at this restaurant was decent in taste, but it was laden with sugar and artificial flavors, which is not what I would expect from a health-conscious website like HappyCow. Despite being called an Italian ice cream shop, it was unclear if all flavors were dairy-free or not, as there was no clear labeling. The syrups used were artificial and did not contain any real fruit or chocolate. This place lacked any nutritional value and paled in comparison to healthier frozen yogurt options. It should definitely be removed from HappyCow as it does not offer healthy or vegan-friendly options.
During our stay in Sanibel, my friend and I visited this restaurant. My friend ordered the hazelnut gelato, while I chose the mango sorbet. Both desserts were delicious and the portion sizes were huge! I ordered a child size and struggled to finish it, so two hungry adults could easily share a small portion.
This restaurant is perfect for vegetarians and vegans who enjoy traditional plant-based dishes. The large portions of delicious food are a great option for special occasions, although this is not a health-focused restaurant.
