I've always loved China star since I was a child. I'm 36 yrs now and they are still my favorite place to go for good food. Garlic chicken is good. Chicken lo mein broc chicken orange chicken general tso egg rolls all are very good

We usually call in our orders and pick up at the restaurant. When you call ahead you can expect it to “be ready in ten minute.” They never keep us waiting. We even love to dine in once in a while. You can always count on the food being just as amazing either way you take it. You still can expect it to be ready in 10 minutes or less. They serve it to you in these dishes that are so pretty in my opinion. They’re simple dishes, but I still like the aesthetic they bring to the presentation. They offer self serve drinks and utensils. Chop sticks available behind the counter if you ask for them. The first and last thing you see when you enter and exit are the beautiful plants they always have on display. I also like that you can see the food being prepared in an open kitchen right behind the counter. My go-to dish is always Shrimp Broccoli that has a delicious brown sauce, tasty jumbo shrimp and comes with a generous side of white rice.

Worst customer service and order taking ever.When ordering let 's say, Sesame Chicken. They say, OK 10 minutes. When you gio pick it up and pay for it, it 's twice as expensive that is what is on the menu. They say, you order dinner Sesame Chicken . You say no I ordered Sesame Chicken, that comes with an egg roll . They say, no that 's combo Well, put that on your freaking menu!!!

I've been going here for almost 15 years now. Always has been our favorite place in Springfield.
