This is a unique restaurant located right on the tarmac of a small airport. It was very busy when we were there and rightfully so. The food was great and the service was very personable. I'll typically get eggs benedict for breakfast and this one was very good, I enjoyed it a lot. What Bruce Gordon doesn't like about The Pilot Choice Pizza More:
3 breakfasts this morning and all three said, “once is enough”! They don’t serve waffles, don’t serve sausage Pattie’s. What they do serve is burnt coffee, reg and decaf, toast that is white warm bread, rubbery pancakes, ham omelet with hard little bits of ham. Waitress asked how everything was and she didn’t seem surprised when we said terrible. Too many good breakfast places in Sanford to ever miss the Pilots Cove.

Not much atmosphere, really, but they have large windows that look out on the tarmac and the runway so it's fun to watch the activity. There were several families with young children, and I'm sure that they enjoyed watching the small planes as they taxied around and then took off and landed.
Went in this morning with my husband. Our third time..we just discovered this place. It's always been good. And we've been happy to recommend it to everyone. He ordered the large breakfast I did a number #2. Very dissapointed. The homefries were so overcooked we couldn't eat them. The toast came out so cold and hard it was inedible. Sausage links were tiny skinny tasteless links and bacon was like leather.. The waiter was nice. Yes it was crowded but they should still be sure each customer gets a good meal. $33dollars and some change later. was not worth it!!!
Great food and even better and nicer service. Prices are reasonable and the place is usually busy but we flew in and got right in, got fast and very friendly service with many smiles and fresh hot food. We will be back

Had business in the area and decided to try this restaurant. The special was the Rubin panini and we added on their mac& cheese. Although the Rubin was tasty, the bread soggy and couldn't hold the meat. Fries were great. As for mine, it didn't hit the table with bubbling cheese, rather a thicker cheese, you'd cut into. Taste was there, just expected something better. Service was great, the waitress was very pleasant and attentive. Would return to give their breakfast a try.
