Emily's Woodfired Pizza - Sanford

First-time visitors to Emily’s on this “National Pi Day”. Veggie pi for me, spinach and bacon for Greg. Hoped to take home a slice or 2 for a late-night snack...but we both ate the whole thing. Absolutely delish...and the staff was great! We’ll be back! ????????????

My first visit was sort of a special one as a new friend of mine went out with me to Emily's. I've driven past it many many times but just have not made the stop. The building itself is fine. Looks like they may have transformed an apartment building into what it is now. There is another Restaurant taking up residence on the other side. Anyways, as I walked in I noticed it was smaller than I thought. With a handful if tables and some bar seating. Plenty of light shines through the bay window. Out table was not wiped off, I'm chalking it up it as an oversight even though there was no other customers there at the time. Our Server was almost too attentive as he came over multiple times in a short period to see if we we're ready to order. Once we had decided,he never came back haha. I walked up to him to let him know we were ready. Cooked in an actual wood fired open oven, you can even see the flames. The food arrived hot and fresh. I had the Potato Pizza,which consists of a homemade mashed potato base cheese,bacon,scallions, and chives. I did receive any sour cream as it states on the menu. Fantastic. The crust was cooked to perfection,the whole pizza was delicious. I'll be back for another visit soon.

I called in asking is they could make a fried buffalo chicken pizza and the two boys there made the BESt pizza! The pizza I wanted wasn’t even on the menu but hey stall made it. Perfect ????

We stopped here for lunch. I had a steak and cheese bomb, my husband had the meatball sub, both were hot and delicious. The people were very nice and the restaurant and bathroom was very clean. We will definitely stop again when we are in the area.

I can't say anything bad about this place! very friendly and fast! You can't find a pizza that good or something!
