The owners were extremely friendly. It's unfortunate that they have moved on to other commitments now. Best of luck to them in the future.

I made a reservation for 7:00pm at this restaurant for me, my wife, and our twin 16-year-old daughters because they were offering a 2 for 1 deal on starters, ma... read more I made a reservation for 7:00pm at this restaurant for me, my wife, and our twin 16-year-old daughters because they were offering a 2 for 1 deal on starters, mains, and desserts through the Meerkat App. When we arrived on time, we found the restaurant locked, and had to wait while they located the keys. Once inside, we were seated at a table in an empty restaurant. The exterior of the restaurant appeared rundown and industrial. We were informed that we could not claim the Meerkat discount as advertised in the app, and were handed a different menu. We were then told that we needed to order two starters and two main courses in order to get one free. When we questioned this and mentioned that the app specified ordering two items and paying for the most expensive one, we were told that the app was incorrect. Disappointed with the situation, we decided to leave and dine elsewhere at full price, missing out on the opportunity to try the food at this restaurant.

This year, we had 20 diners and everyone enjoyed a leisurely, top-quality meal at a very affordable price. The restaurant has its own parking lot and is located just 25 yards from the main Hagley Road. This marks our 8th annual visit for lunch and we have never been let down. We highly recommend it.
