It is a large and intimate place to visit, but reservations are recommended. The beer and wine selection is great, and the food is well prepared at a reasonable price. The only downside is that the staircase leading downstairs has too many steps and is not easily accessible. The waiter service is good and cash payment is preferred. Overall, I highly recommend dining here. Unfortunately, Frankanzls is now permanently closed.

We decided to give it a try on an early Saturday evening without a reservation, and luckily we were able to get a table. We even found parking right outside on Milcote Street. We couldn't believe our luck - the restaurant turned out to be a hidden gem that we never would have expected!

I have been dining here for 27 years and have always enjoyed the great value for a hearty meal at a reasonable price. I usually budget around £150 for a party of 4 including drinks at the bar and wine. The service is also very good.
