Excellent food, we are big fans of their steak. And they have even accommodated our children with food allergies. (Highly recommend the Bank Bites. Yum!
The ribeye and prime rib were exceptional. The asparagus was cooked to perfection, and the mac and cheese was outstanding, tasting just like homemade. I really enjoyed the decor, which was inspired by the bank that used to occupy this location. Thank you for the excellent service and a wonderful meal!
Moreover, the restaurant appears to be cutting corners. They previously made their own chicken tenders, but now they seem to use pre-packaged ones from Sysco or Gordon Food Service. Their rolls used to come with cinnamon butter, but now you receive a small container of Land O' Lakes butter that doesn't even cover half of a roll. I could go on about these issues, but it's clear that this establishment is compromising quality to save money, which is likely driving away customers. I won't be returning, and I've heard from many others who feel the same way. It's unfortunate because Sandusky could really use a great dining option.
We saw our waitress only three times during our visit, and she never checked on us. When we spoke to the manager, she seemed indifferent and didn't attempt to address our concerns. To top it off, the waitress we had was quite rude when we were leaving. It's hard to believe the owners allow such poor food quality and service. We definitely won’t be returning and will make sure to warn others against dining here.
