Derrick's Diner - Sandusky

Came in from Michigan for a convention and wanted to find an interesting place to eat and this place did not disappoint. Comfy, friendly and socialable staff and great food to boot. Everything was very presentable and delicious. The Fruitty Pebbles cheesecake was to die for. My only regret is that I live 2.5 hours away!!! If you're in the area, don't settle for fast food garbage, stop here. Owner is one cool dude.

Food was phenomenal! Every single thing I tried was incredible. It literally was some of the best food I have ever eaten. Everything was so fresh and flavorful. The prices are fantastic. If you haven't been to this place yet, stop out, if there's room. This guy knows what he's doing! We will definitely be back! Support your local business and stop out! What a great meal, glad a hobbled my way in!

Have to say that's the best-smoked pork I ever ate.the smoke taste and flavor was perfect. Oh ya don't forget the cornbread made like moma made us when I was growing up. keep up the fantastic job you're doing it right.

Stopped by derricks diner tonight. It came highly recommended and lived up to the hype. The food was delicious. Amanda, our server, was friendly and efficient. I have nothing but good things to say about it. Welcome to the neighborhood, Derrick and crew!

Just had the BBQ fries, chicken hibachi steak/shrimp hibachi! Had to bring it home to Toledo. It was excellent!!! Nice to have a small hometown restaurant, with such great food service!!! Keep doing what you do, Derrick best wishes for your restaurant!!!
