What User doesn't like about Sails Waterfront And Grill:
We arrived at 12:15 PM and there was only one waiter serving drinks. We didn’t receive our first drinks until 12:50 PM. There was only one food waiter as well. We placed our meal orders at 12:40, but they didn’t arrive until 1:30. The curry we ordered, served with rice, was bland and the rice was overly sticky, as if it had been pre-cooked. Was here at a sat night, place was not too busy. I ordered the ship with the steak in medium rare to shore. I could say that the steak was cooked on an excessive temperature that led to the areas being overboiled from the outside. the flesh was less juicy. the chocolate-drizzle for the Belgian chocolate waffel was a bit chaos. everything in all, eating was okay, but not amazing.
Have been coming here for years with all of my likeminded friends and it has quickly turned into our favourite place to catch up for a few eats and time together. Great quality and tasting meals complimented by the friendly staff. Highly recommend!
The place was vividfull. The atmosphere was breathtakingly live. The staff lead by a confident yet generous Resturant Manager, I wasnt able to eat the cake along with other dessert. Yet the Resturant manager came up with a solution...Voila, a Fruit platter. In the future ill definately come back. A pat on the back to the Staff.
I went there today and had the three ways fish dish with mash potatoes. I found that the fish although it wasn't off didn't seem very fresh at all and was a bit disappointing. It seems that the fish was either frozen or was in the fridge for a few days, could have passed as left overs from another ones plate. The others that I was with had lamb and steak dishes and they were happy but I have had better fish from a take away store.
We celebrated our son's Confirmation with 20 guests and had a sensational celebration thanks to Anastasia and her team at the Sails Restaurant. The food was fantastic, the service was attentive and friendly and the view was just beautiful. We will definitely be back for simple family dinners and for larger celebrations. If you haven't visited Sails before, we highly recommend it.
