Foodies deli cafe - SANDRINGHAM

Food menu is small and lacks variety - you pay for all the trendy items on the menu. Have tried twice but wont be rushing back - nothing special and as it is always busy the tables are too close. No way to have a quiet discussion. Great if you want to be seen and park your car out the front for it also to be seen.

Walked in for a juice. I happened to meet the owner while I was waiting for my juice and started talking to me about restaurant business and his trips to New York. He was very nice and added additional to my juice for no extra charge. Thank you sir. Juice, however was subpar. Menu looked appetizing but was not hungry at the time. If I ever come back to Australia I may have to give it a try. Looked like it had a lot of healthy options which is usually a plus for me especially near a beach.

This WAS the best cafe in the south, until recently.At the corner of my street all my friends always wanted to visit. The food was really good quality, you could buy housemade jams, loaf of sourdough, fritattas and yummy salads, but after 2 change of owners the quality has gone down hill. Although the shop looks fresh it lacks the kitchen skills and quality the previous owners got so right.Laminated menus like a shopping centre cafe put me right off!!Another big thing is the coffee - terrible - this also changed to be less quality, so sad!

Dropped in to have a small meal coffee and tea I had the haloumi salad (to die for) and husband had the club sandwich. Both meals were large but extremely tasty. Meals around $20 The staff were very good recommend

This place used to be great - now the service is pretty poor and the food is average. Also don't buy the uncovered muffins on the counter - saw someone coughing all over them this morning - gross!!! Cover the food please!!!!
