Description

**Dining Experience at The Blue Cap: A Mixed Bag**

The Blue Cap Pub offers a diverse dining experience that has garnered both praise and criticism from patrons. While many rave about the excellent food quality, friendly staff, and welcoming atmosphere, others report disappointing service and inconsistency in meal preparation. Some diners have encountered issues with dietary accommodations, while others enjoyed notable dishes like burgers and chocolate brownies. Though the ambiance shines, delays in food service have been observed. Overall, The Blue Cap presents a blend of culinary delights and service challenges, making it a place worth exploring, albeit with some reservations.

Possibly the worst Sunday lunch ever. The staff, not welcoming or friendly or helpful. The so called roast beef served pink was anything but. Had probably sat under a heat lamp for hours. The only thing enjoyable was our grandson's chocolate brownie. Will definitely not return. Price per person: £20–30 Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2

We recently held my father's Wake here. Kate and her team did an excellent job from the initial arranging to the service provided on the actual day. The buffet was plentiful and of a high standard. We received many comments on how nice the food was. Would highly recommend. Food is excellent, the pub had a really good atmosphere, and the staff was extremely pleasant. Only down fall was food, which took nearly half hour saying it wasn't that busy. I thought it was a little too long Price per person: £30–40 Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5
