This place had some good tasting sandwiches similar to Jersey Mikes. The family enjoyed their subs and felt they were all fresh tasting and delicious. They were a little on the pricey side but considering the quality of the other local options it wad somewhat justified. Sandwiches are great, but customer service sucks. Today when I was given my change back it was given to me on top of my sandwich I didn 't want to complain because I 'm not a Karen but wow. I 'm speechless (I come here all the time) I 'm Hispanic they never greet me but when a white person walks in hello, how are you, what can I get for you today . We found this place by mistake, but was so happy they could accommodate my gluten allergy. They have gluten free bed and also offered to make it without bread. Sandwiches were delicious and the service was great! Thank you so much!! Dietary restrictions: Gluten allergy
I love their Big Kahuna chicken cheese steak sandwich , it is my favorite hands down.
In the area and wanted to get two sandwiches, so i decided to try this place. First and last time I'll come here terrible service, very cold atmosphere staff not to mention the single piece of cold cuts. Jersey Mikes by far a better place.
This was incredibly underwhelming..The cleanliness was terrible..Literally when I visit a place the first thing I check for is the cleanliness of the staff and environment..They never changed there gloves, my sandwiche was made on a metal surface, NO PLASTIC OR PAPER underneath it, the staff was polite but nothing covering there hair...I would NOT RETURN OR RECOMMEND THIS PLACE....
Edit: Thanks again for the contentious and counterproductive response, completely validating the original post.ATTENTION: This owner is more interested in passive-aggressively attacking every customer that leaves a negative review rather than actually improving this small and ever so complicated, justifiably overpriced sandwich shopOP: Just wanted to take a moment to remind the owner of a fundamental tenant of digital business communication. If you are unable or unwilling to do anything to resolve a customer's negative experience, don't respond to a negative review. It's appreciated when an owner responds directly to a review, but not when they attempt to deflect responsibility for a negative experience onto the customer. Accept responsibility for your overpriced virtually empty business. It's not the customer's fault. Change some things or go out of business. It's that simple. Just a few tweaks, and you'll be the best shop in Monterey, albeit with smaller margins. Half of something is better than all of nothing. Best of luck to you.
