This place is very unique. It is a bar(huge selection) but all the seating is outside in a garden area. They get live music 3 times a week. They have the best fries I have ever had. They called them scoop fries and just wow. We had them with two dishes 3 dip (basket full of fries with a choice of 3 dips) and irish nachos (never had nachos like this and it was delicious). We were lucky and they just finished taking out... What Amor Moran doesn't like about The Gardens At Bear Canyon:
This place was a colossal waste of time. Came here with 3 kids, as a family of 5. Was not busy, lots of empty tables. After an hour of waiting we found out they forgot to put our order in. In that time, nobody checked on us, refilled water, etc. didn’t even get the beers comped. Do not come here. View all feedback.

Always a great team working, quality food and tasty drinks. We are so lucky to have this place in the neighborhood.
Friendly and attentive staff. Great beer selection and the open backyard feel was very enjoyable.
This gem is tucked into the Northeast corner of Bear Canyon Shopping Center at the corner of Tanque Verde and Catalina Highway. My date and I went here on a Friday night. The band playing this night was Baja Caravan (who were excellent btw). When you walk into this venue (which is entirely outdoors), the nicely lit bar is to your left (the bar is covered). There is a smattering of tables by the bar. These would be mostly for drinking patrons. If you are here to drink AND eat (and catch the live music), you will probably want to head right (or left if you happen to park on the opposite side and enter from that direction) where more spacious sit down tables are.We were seated at a small table on the side. The chairs (those metal almost wrought iron types) had comfortable cushions both welcomed and necessary, as it was a chilly November night and metal chairs would be cold on our bottoms.Bear Canyon Pizza, I believe, is owned by the same owners, so if you order pizza it will come from there (just next to The Gardens, you could literally walk over there if you wanted to eat there instead). Anyway, the Gardens menu looked like they had some eclectic choices, and prices for entrees looked to be under $15, so reasonable. My date had a slice of pepperoni, but I wasn't feeling pizza and ended up not eating there. The music was outstanding, the perfect volume that you could hear everything clearly, but not overpowering so you couldn't hear each other talk. The only issue I had here was most of the tables are on unpaved dirt. It was a challenge (at first) getting used to not bumping the table and spilling something. Because of a sliggtly uneven surface, tables can be a bit wobbly. You get used to it, but just be careful you don't bump yours and get a drink in your lap!Highly recommend The Gardens. It's a beautiful place for families (the have cornhole and other games), and a great intimate place to bring a date. Oh, and dancing is encouraged it helps the band get into the groove better!Parking: It's a big shopping center, so plenty of free parking here.Kid friendliness: They have the yard games, and I even saw a cart with board games on it.
Cut back the bushes on west side where tables are so we can see the band playing as well. Sound food were really good!
