Seating here can be hit or miss. Often I can just walk in (off peak) and grab a table, at other moments I'll have to wait and once called for a table l get to follow the hostess to a nearly empty dining room. During peak hrs it's a given that you'll wait as the place can easily get packed.While the food is still good, there has been a noticable decline in the intensity of it's flavors as of late, this flavor decline... What Sam C doesn't like about Poco Moms Cantina:
We ordered chips and salsa and the salsa tasted fresh. I ordered a ground beef taco and shredded chicken hard shell taco. Both were very dry. The ground beef was a little spicy but the shredded chicken didn’t have much flavor. The rice and beans were flavorful though. My husband ordered a carne asada burrito and it was full of meat and had good flavor. View all feedback.

When ever visiting Tucson, This is always a must stop. With our dog, Great patio sitting. They make amazing Prickley Pear Margaritas.
Anna was so nice and the food was amazing. It was our first time but we will definitely be back the sopapillas were on point. And the green chili is definitely to die for.
Lunch on a Thursday afternoon with friends. Dining room was quite noisy so we were offered a table in the bar. Room was comfortable with a corner table, waitress friendly and helpful. Food was outstanding. First time dinners but won't be out last. A great place for Mexican food. Well presented meals. Next time I should find something new to try. But to be honest, I'll more than likely get the NM combo plate again. An array of items that were extremely delicious ?. And a restaurant worthy of my visiting relatives in the fall. Thank you for a wonderful lunch. So many choices. So hard to decide.
We love this spot. The take out is inconsistent, with errors each time. But dine in and you'll love the friendly service and fabulous New Mexico food!
