So glad we made time to dine at this lovely authentic restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised by the unique meals with familiar names. You taste the freshness in the salsa and sauces. We had very kind service, we loved the humble inviting atmosphere. I happily will return and recommend this dining experience. What GrenadesAndHamm doesn't like about La Indita:
We had several different meats and beans to go. The only way I can describe it is that it tasted like it was made purposely bland as if they were serving it to patients in a hospital. Maybe their dishes are better, but for what we had, we weren't impressed at all. View all feedback.
Like home cooking. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Great vibes and just real genuine people.
Love La Indita! I love that they have good daily specials, excellent vegetarian and vegan options, and all the staff are really kind, communicative, and thoughtful. The only thing I could possibly critique is that I wish they had different takeout boxes (I don’t like styrofoam). If they did, I would order takeout all the time.
Love the menu with the regional emphasis. My favorite is the Ranch style flat enchiladas, the mole is good too, as are various vegetarian options. My favorite Mexican food restaurant in Tucson for many decades. I just wish they had some Mexican wine to go with the food.
Fantastic family run restaurant with a lot of soul. Authentic and tasty dishes, great value.
This is my go to place whenever someone visits Tucson. The food is always really good for a good price. The nopalitos and calabacitas are great and not something you can easily find in Tucson. Their salsa and guacamole are amazing too. I'm a huge fan!
