This was our first time dining at Carusos. The salad was fresh, crunchy and the dressing was perfect. Spaghetti Carbonara was creamy, fresh mushrooms and the right amount of bacon. I had to eat every bit. To end the meal , homemade Spumoni ice cream. Service was excellent!!! No wonder they’ve been around so long. They do everything right!!! View all feedback.
What Manolo Santiago doesn't like about Caruso's:
Not what I was expecting to be honest. Place is busy that's for sure, loud but not annoying just table talk gets really loud. Food I can say I wasn't impressed. My make your own pasta was soupy with what looked like the water from the pasta swimming in with the sauce so seemed a little soupy. I visited last night as a longtime customer. I was not impressed with the quality of the food. The food quality has definitely gone down, and the quantity has also gone down for what you're paying almost $25 a plate. You're sure not getting a lot for your money. My chicken Parmesan The chicken had such a weird texture and such an odd flavor. My girlfriend was served spaghetti noodles with her chicken Alfredo, which is very strange. I've never seen that used with Alfredo. I will not return to this dump.
I have been eating at Caruso’s since the 1970’s. I still love the lasagna desserts. The crust on the pizza is much thicker than before. All the other flavors have stayed the same.You could dine in economically, split a pizza between friends. I did not! I had a salad, appetizer, combo dinner and dessert with flavored tea. With tip $75. I also had about 4-5 meals from leftovers.
Service was wonderful and the food tasted fresh with rich flavors. Definitely a recommended place
Celebrated our 5th Anniversary with a lovely dinner, great service, and the patio is so relaxing under the stars and lights!
