The restaurant is beautiful and all of our dishes were completely vegan. They also offer vegetarian choices. The food nourishes both your body and soul. The owner is quite the character. He is very friendly and welcoming, and even gave us extra garlic naan for free and offered us a good deal on wine. He's a great guy with delicious food. What ACav doesn't like about Amber Kitchen:
I was told by a person on the street that they have never seen the restaurant open with customers. The tables are set up, but there is something suspicious about it. The sign outside does not display any operating hours. When I called the number, a man inquired about the location and informed me that they were not open for lunch that day. Great service, good food and best music! Great experience! My family was greeted by a nice host and we need to choose our own table. They had fresh roses and beautiful clean white tablecloths. Spices that we are so delicious in every dish! Portions are also large. I love it!
I had the most beautiful date in this charming establishment. The food was good the place was warm and I felt like the night had come to a pleasant end. I'll be back.
I rolled to this place at 8:30 on a Wednesday night, it was completely empty and I don't understand why. I ordered a Malai kofta and my partner ordered the Hydrabadi lamb, with one side rice. I usually don't leave reviews because I don't feel qualified, but the food from this place is absolutely amazing. I ate much more than I had because I'm NOT STOP. If I ever have a reason to be back in Marin County, I can't wait to eat here again!!!
We stopped there for lunch, planned to have the buffet, but they stopped the offer. Actually, I am glad that the menu offers were really excellent (and I had many Indian foods, in the USA, Great Britain and India). The service was particularly good... the cook brought our dishes so proud! And we enjoyed the fresh papadam and sauces that were immediately brought to the table. Very recommended!
This was some of the best Indian food I have ever tasted. The chicken in my biryani was soooo tender and the layers of flavor with just the right amount of spiciness was amazing. Loved the naan as well. the portion and prices are really good. I couldn't stop eating even though I was full. Made 3 meals out of the 1 dish. All I could think about is when can I come back!
