What Richard Metzgen likes about Taqueria San Juan:
We love to find little hideaway places like this, and couldn’t have been happier with our maiden visit. The service was excellent and food delicious. We had the fish super tacos and shrimp burrito (the wet sauce was spicy) as our typical go to items, but there was plenty on the menu that I would try on our next visit. We just had dinner here. I am so disappointed. I went with the reviews and I thought it would be good but it wasn’t. My wife had a asada burrito and it was horrible. The asada had no flavor. read moreNestled in a quaint spot, this restaurant presents a mixed bag of culinary experiences. While the atmosphere is inviting and the service often praised for its efficiency and friendliness, the food quality varies significantly. Diners have reported bland and unremarkable dishes, particularly with burritos and tortas lacking flavor and moisture. However, some highlights include successfully executed seafood options, such as the camarones a la diabla and shrimp burrito, drawing positive remarks. For those seeking authentic Mexican flavors, caution may be warranted, but the warm ambiance and accommodating staff provide a pleasant dining environment worth exploring.
