The owner Mario is quite the charming host who tempted us with the fresh scallops followed by grilled octopus tacos. Amazing and so FRESH! Mario always has a smile on his face and the freshest fish in town. View all feedback.
What Alize Brekke doesn't like about Mario's Mariscos Frescos:
My wife and I had heard good reviews on Mario's from our friends and on TripAdvisor. We had lunch today I had fried fish and see had a fish burrito I also ordered fried potatoes which came out after I had finished my meal. The food was ok but not anything I would go back for. The service was slow. They don't take credit cards. View all feedback.
This is my third visit to marios, and I can't believe that this place has no more traffic. from the very cozy mario, who welcomes all its guests to the wonderful large tellers of fresh seafood, this restaurant has attracted our boxes. we had done mahi mahi. two away (2 of us ordered the same court with another soße a diablo, an ajillo). both were excellent if they can tolerate seasoned, the diabelo won, they came with cocos rice and fresh salad. another in our group had a garnelenquesadilla, which was huge and packed with good garnels. we had some wonderful grassy waters (like aqua fresca). the price was incredibly reasonable. good ambiente. limited parking – above the ancha de san antonio almost opposite the city market. go! mario deserves more success than we saw on a Friday night.
Marios is an amazing little gem. Best seafood I have had while in San Miguel. Mario is such a nice guy. If your looking for great seafood in San Miguel give Marios a shot!
This was the most amazing seafood restaurant my family has been to. We had an entire room for our party of 11. Mario and Piano served us delicious food and entertained our group. We would highly recommend!
We came here as a group of 4 and got a experience of a lifetime ! The seafood was delicious, we had coconut shrimp, garlic butter shrimp, garlic fish fillet and a fish fillet a la diabla. I forgot to mention the starters. We had...salsa and chips with a side of Marlin that was delicious! All of it was delicious! Mario was very kind and proud of his establishment. He is very welcoming and the service they all provide is beautiful. We had a great time! They even offer you a little mezcal at the end. Thank you for the experience! We will be back !
It was a quaint, friendly place. The owner spoke good English, which was appreciated. The food was excellent! Hope to go again before we leave.
