This is a new restaurant that has far exceeded our expectations. do not let the name of the restaurant fool them it is not middle-east food (although they have some). it is named after a friend of the owner. the owner was a chef for many...years her speciality is a thin crust pizza, but they also have wonderful fish, huh and pasta. we were there a few times and could not believe the quality of food to the trips. a beautifully prepared boneless chicken breast in a white wine sauce with carrots, carrots and zucchuni for pesos. or a fabulous salate with fresh salads, blue cheese and roasted heaps. the fish is packed in a foil bag and is delicious and friends who had the pizza said it was excellent. that is a jewel for the centro of san miguel.
This is a new restaurant that far exceeded our expectations. Don't let the name of the restaurant fool you - it's not mid-Eastern food (although they do have some). It's named after a friend of the owner. The owner has been a chef for many years. Their specialty is a thin crust pizza but they also have wonderful fish, chicken and pasta. We have been there a couple of times and couldn't believe the quality of food at the prices. A beautifully prepared boneless chicken breast in a white wine sauce with mashed potatoes, carrots and zucchuni - all for 60 pesos. Or a fabulous salad with fresh lettuces, blue cheese and toasted pecans. The fish is prepared wrapped in a foil pouch and is delicious. And friends who had the pizza said it was outstanding. This is a gem for the Centro of San Miguel.
