The Huntington needs no introduction but the renewed and greatly expanded Japanese and Chinese gardens are amazing. In between is the Jade Court Cafe. Does what it says on the tin: large open air courtyard with plenty of tree shade and quiet corners. Fast self-service food counter. Great Korean Chinese food delivered to your table. Brilliant! What Emerald C doesn't like about Jade Court Cafe:
Can’t say this was the greatest food ever, because it wasn’t. The white rice was so hard I couldn’t eat it. The tofu and the green beans were good…everything else was eh (orange chicken, veggie noodles, pork dish). I wouldn’t eat here again to be honest. View all feedback.

The food is way too salty but fish is nice. I liked fried catfish but wish it’s little sweeter and less salty. Prices little high
I usually have zero expectations for tourist restaurant areas ? but boy was I stunned!!! Especially for the price of the meals, they were so good for so cheap!
Great food, in a beautiful atmosphere of the Huntington Library!
