A SLO staple, this place has classic small diner vibes plus great big portions and very good food. The servers are friendly and down-to-earth. The food is fresh and they have a ton of omelette and egg options. They also have mimosas and spiked coffee if you're in a morning drinking mood. Trust, you won't find a better value or better energy than Louisa's. View all feedback.
What Boyar Nick doesn't like about Louisa's Place:
wasn't good experience, for one egg and messy oily dark fried potatoes price for that was16$, this is not normal. Very disappointed, this place was recommended by my friends. View all feedback.

Great diner. Enjoyed he sourdough french toast and huevos rancheros. Jess is the best.
Good fresh homemade food a little on the expensive side cuz it is downtown San Luis but still very good
Louisa's Place is and was always a favorite breakfast stop of mine in San Luis Obispo. I love this restaurant. I attended university in SLO in the mid to late 1970s, and it was our go-to spot back then.
One of the last surviving food institutions of 80s SLO. Get there early to get a seat and a parking space (you don’t have to pay for parking until 9). Giant biscuits.
