Although I didn't try the food, I was impressed with the beer selection at this restaurant. I plan on returning frequently. Additionally, the restaurant is conveniently located just a 14-minute walk or 4-minute drive from the train station. View all feedback.
What Flora Yifan He doesn't like about Antigua Brewing Company:
Beer and service were good, but my friends and I shared a plate of chips and salsa and we all got diarrhea the next day. Response to owner's comment: I want to clarify that the chips and salsa at your establishment were the only item my friends and I shared. We did not dine elsewhere together at any other time. All three of us experienced diarrhea the next morning. One of us had to go to urgent care, and another miss... View all feedback.
Stopped in last night for a bite and drinks and was very pleased. The beer is awesome, had Zues' Hammer and loved it- And I'm not typically an IPA drinker. Food was solid. Even the cookies were great, like homemade. Took home a couple of 4-packs, and will definitely be back for that delicious beer.
Great beer and food. The Cookies are also amazing. Everyone was friendly and I look forward to going back.
My wife and I decided to try out this restaurant after work, but unfortunately they were closed for an event called Flugnacht, which required $35 tickets for entry between 6-8pm. We paid $70 and sat at the bar, only to find that the music was playing from loudspeakers and barely audible. The food was only brought out in small, scattered portions to certain tables, despite the entire place being closed for the event. There were no side plates provided, leaving us to stand around and eat the same dishes. We left after 35 minutes of waiting, without being acknowledged by the owner, who informed us that only a select few tables would receive food from the event menu. We were not offered any water or beer. Everyone seemed to be staring at the cold fries, questioning if the $35 for the beer event was worth it. We left at 6:35 and went to another restaurant, where we were welcomed with open arms and served promptly. The owner's response to our concerns did not excuse the lack of service and communication. Unfortunately, I will not be returning to this restaurant and I advise others to seek out better dining options.
In general, this restaurant is a great spot to hang out with friends for drinks and food. The place is large, open, and well-lit with natural light and electric lighting. They have comfortable seating options such as cozy chairs, couches, and padded high seats. The bar is long and offers a wide selection of beers to suit various tastes. The food served here is delicious. The owners are friendly and open to conversation, showing their dedication to making the restaurant a success.
I wanted to try out this restaurant and I was pleased with the friendly owners and great atmosphere. The space was open with plenty of seating options, creating a casual and relaxed vibe. My boyfriend enjoyed his IPA while I had a porter, both of which were delicious. The IPA was light on hops but still tasty, while the porter was rich and satisfying. We also shared a chicken sandwich, which had great flavors but we wished the bread was fresher. Overall, a fantastic spot in Slo for beer lovers.
