Mayfield- San Juan Capistrano

Our experience was just okay. Food was great, service wasn’t so good. Never had old plates removed didn’t check up on us much. Food took a very long time to come out. Place wasn’t busy at all. Maybe they were training and that’s why it was so slow. Not sure.

Outstanding cocktails to start with. Then tasty hummus and spinach wrapped feta dips with the fluffiest focaccia bread. Don’t miss the roasted carrots! The rack of lamb with minted peas was the best we’ve ever had. Last but not least delicious fried chicken served with harissa honey and homemade ranch dip. All of this professionally orchestrated by the friendliest waitress, Jessie. We will definitely return soon to try the other items.

Been there so many times. Disappointed that no popcorn is served on Sunday. Also wine 27$ a glass ridiculous!!! I didn’t look my fault but waiter said it’s right on menu. Rude.

We loved our experience at Mayfield. The ambiance was great, the patio seating was so lovely, and our sweet waitress (I think her name was autumn? was very attentive and helpful. Overall a great evening and plan to return! Also the bread was incredible.

Delicious and unique food in a super cute area of San Juan Capistrano. Our server Hanna was amazing and informative about favorites and quantities. All of her suggestions and her level of service were spot on. Drinks were inventive and tasty as well, we will definitely be back!
