Tasca El Pescador Seafood - San Juan

Quite good food, small, picturesque, had to look for the parking space, next time will take over. but eating was really good. I had paella and it was just as it should be, lots of seafood, rice made perfect and my man had garnel, also a great choice.

Situated in lively La Placita. Excellent choices from the sea. Upscale and very popular.

Wow! Several folks told us the seafood is super fresh here and they were right. We had a whole red snapper, paella, squid-ink rice, codfish fritters, garlic bread and salads. Ask for the homemade hot sauce. Everything was delicious. We were a group of 8, from 9 to 51 in age and had a grand time. WE WILL BE BACK!

Little pricy and slow service, when it was not too busy. So plan to spend some time to take in the local experience around you. Red snapper lunch with salad was $40, but was very tasty and fresh. Salad and local dressing was tasty too.
