Mandarin House - San Juan

Open late, great combo platter, and a nice spot for a quick bite to eat. Chinese joints in Puerto Rico carry a different flavor so if you’re a tourist don’t be expecting the same thing as where you’re from.

The service is not that good, the waitresses were constantly starting and their attitude was a little rude. As for the food, it’s not so bad. Tasted pretty good ngl.

Decent Chinese-American food sushi at expensive, tourist prices. Great, friendly service. The inexpensive menu posted outside does not match the menu inside. Ask for the combo menu for a sparse selection of lunch and dinner combos. Hot and sour soup was tasty, the broth not too thick, and filled with goodies; mu shoo pork was incredibly tender and had good flavor; house fried rice was bland.

I have the chicken and rice comb with house fried rice and French fires and the 2 stk chicken wing combination with fries. it was delicious. I also have an icy that was very good. great prices great portions!

Despite the place that often looked empty, her food is really good! so good if not better that neighboring Chinese restaurants. do not let them look free, eating is great. that of a new yorker. we know our Chinese food.
