The avocado and egg toast was heat fuel as well before exploring old town San Juan. Cuatro Sombras is located in an old downtown building in which they kept the original tile flooring. In the back is a good sized courtyard with a beautiful tile mosaic and a couple tables. Highly recommend this place for coffee, light breakfast and ambiance
I got a 6 ounce Americano and our friend got a 6 ounce latte and we enjoyed them very much. They have very delicious coconut and guava cookies here – super tasty! Today they were sweeter than normal, but still good. Also ordered a ham sandwich, Panini style, and it was super tasty! highly recommend this place.
I enjoyed my experience at this restaurant overall. The establishment is located in the charming old San Juan area and has a lovely ambiance. The staff, food, and coffee were excellent, and we particularly enjoyed dining outside. However, the space is a bit small, which is why I did not give it a perfect 5-star rating.
We had a fantastic experience at this cozy coffee shop. The coffee was excellent (even better than Starbucks, according to my wife) and we both enjoyed our meals. We paid $36 for 2 sandwiches, 2 coffees, and 2 waters. The only downside was that there was no Wi-Fi available.
The coffee and food are both excellent at this charming little restaurant. However, it was quite crowded with tourists, myself included. I expect it will be quieter when there are no cruise ships in port, as there were three during my visit. The restaurant has a small back patio and a raised seating area. It is conveniently located just a block away from the water. Overall, a great spot to relax and enjoy a meal.
