Tried their Pad Thai and it was sweet for my taste. Never had this kind of Pad Thai before. Thako was creamy and not too sweet. It's pandan flavor at the bottom makes it memorable. Their Milk Tea was not that good for me. This is a typical fast food chain and it just sad this was not very Thai for me.

Php88 for a freshly cooked solo plate of pad thai. How can anyone complain. The pad thai is actually pretty decent for the price as well. The other dishes might not be prepared new but the pad thai is. snapsnstories.blogspot.com
Thaicoon is indeed a very creative restaurant/ food stall name. Basically this is the first reason why my attention was caught and tried this stall in the food court at V-Mall. I tried their Large Sizzling Bagoong Rice (Beef) and it was really large! Their bagoong rice was nice and flavorful and the beef was fine too. The meal also contains scrambled egg and green mango shreds which really balances the whole meal. Definitely a bang for the buck food stall.
Pun on Filipino brands is becoming our thing. I also spotted a Thai restaurant called Thaipoon. Countless others are out there intended for recall and humor. Their enterprising version of Bagoong Rice caught my attention. It's similar to a Bibimbap. The sweet sour bagoong rice in the middle is surrounded by a well flavored chicken, carrots, scrambled eggs and delicious green mango. This is a steal at Php 98! The Green Chicken Curry though wasn't that appetizing. The meat was either overcooked or re-cooked. The curry was also overwhelming salty. Food 3 was a great ending! I mentioned before that I really enjoy Thai Halo Halo. The coconut milk with chestnuts and sweetened fruits and toppings on ice is truly satisfying. alwayshungry.ph
Very affordable ,filling ,tasty I ordered the sizzling bagoong rice (beef) tho I think the taste is suitable for the Pinoy palate and Im a purist looking for the Thai distinct taste.Well lit and clean outlet In Greenhills. For cheap Thai inspired food its ok.
Average food, not spicy (don't forget to ask for tons of chili flakes) and cheap. Ordered Tofu Yellow Curry and Chicken Holy Basil for my husband. Both were just okay. Add P30 you get a drink and dessert (Thako). Thaicoon is located at the food court of V-Mall Shopping Center.
