best takoyaki ive ever had. I always get the original since everytime i get a different flavor, i always go back to the original. it is rich in toppings, flavor and serving. can easily compete with little tokyo’s takoyaki if i may add. View all feedback.
What Shanon Carter doesn't like about Kraken Takoyaki:
2-Cheese Takoyaki
P138.00 (6 pieces)
Savory takoyaki with cream cheese and mozzarella toppings that adds to its awesome gooeyness. Order once they start a fresh batch since takoyaki is best eaten wholly hot (not reheated). Will try their other variants next time especially their curry version ????
I guess cheese does work well with almost everything even takoyaki ????.
I usually like my takoyaki with the outside a little crispy, but its version is close to something real. it was very tasteful and served warm. it is also very affordable with 6 pieces takoyaki balls per order.
The interesting brand name and my demand for takoyaki brought me to this kiosk. the servier size of 6 pieces was just right for its price and they are slightly larger than most. stuffed hot with much veggie filling and tasted especially because it does not overwhelming drizzle of mayo.
I. Love. It. This is the one. This is the takoyaki I needed in my life. I don't care about the traffic. I'll go all the way to Promenade whenever I need a takoyaki fix. It tastes great. Just like the takoyaki I had when I was in Japan. I hope Kraken Takoyaki gets more branches.
One of the place where you can get great tasting Takoyaki is at Kraken Takoyaki. A bit pricey (Original costs P98.00 , but you'll get your money's worth. You get 6 pieces of Takoyaki per order. And for me, one order is enough to make your tummy full. Sometimes their stall is buzzin' with customers, but that's how you'll know that a product is good right? (long lines awesomely delicious . I've tried their Original (P98.00 and Smoked Bacon (P128.00 variants, but I like the Original one the most! :
These warm and fluffy octopus balls are topped with seaweed and bonito flakes to accentuate salty and umami flavors, yet contain a light helping of mayonnaise to put it all together. That, and the chewy octopus in the center and creamy consistency of the balls (that sounds wrong, whoops make this a good afternoon snack. A bit pricey for the usual takoyaki though, so I can’t award a full 5 stars to it.
