Habana Cuba - San Jose

Tidy small place serving delicious food. we had a sampler appetizer plate. all are well prepared and delicious. the garlic sauce is the bomb. the garnels in garlic were generous. the tostones were perfectly caramelized not burned. it enjoyed a delicious meal. it is a food-dressing area so that different taste directions can be explored. and there are a bar a few steps away when they want a beer with their meal. good enough to go back and explore more.

Pretty delicious aromas of vaca frita. eating was done quite quickly and was not badly expensive. Unfortunately, the half of my vaca frita was only fat. the crispy pieces were incredible, but hardly a flesh was crispy except the cover layer. will definitely try again and the other dishes they have

$17 a plate for something that tasted okay in my opinion. The market seating atmosphere is cute, but not that cute for me to pay that much.

This is one of my favorite spots to eat (or to take) when I am in the inner city of san jose. I like the Cuban sandwiches and the plantains. I have no deep frame for what makes a great plantain, although I like the sweet one that adds the savory sandwich. if images appear with my review, here is the menu from December 2021. the other photos on google maps were bluish, so hopefully help these pictures.
