First visit. The people in my group who drink were very happy with their drinks, especially the sizes. We all had the Buffalo chicken sandwich, it was fantastic. Everyone went back for seconds and almost thirds. Good fries too. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Uproar Brewing Company:
Kitchen staff are utterly incompetent. Ordered a chicken sandwich and it just never came out, even after asking about it twice. They could clearly see I still had my order number on the table and just chose to ignore it.Asked for a refund after 1.5+ hours which fortunately the bartender gave me. Two stars because the bartender was kind and apologetic and gave me a full refund. View all feedback.
Landed late and arrived in San Jose around 10:30pm. Checked into my hotel nearby at the Four Points and was looking for a place to just relax and grab a drink before heading off to bed. Discovered this brewery nearby and decided to give it a shot! I ordered a flight just so I could try a variety of their brews and thought it was alright. Felt like the IPAs were lacking a bit of hoppiness. Met some locals and got to try one of the hazy's. Should've just ordered a hazy from the get go! I think chatting up the locals and then getting to drop some traveling convos with Lars made the night a little more interesting. All in all a decent experience and would try this spot again.
Great little brewery downtown San Jose. Getting our beers took some time, but it was good. Atmosphere os super fun, food is regular brewery fare.
Service was good, atmosphere wasn't really my taste. Pretty cool that they have a bunch of arcade games, and they play metal music. Again, not my taste, but I know that appeals to many people. I'm giving 4 stars for the lackluster beer selection. Only a handful are brewed by Uproar, and the rest are from other breweries. Beer was pretty typical tasting. Good hangout spot, and trivia is offered!
Cool games, but the food/beers were underwhelming. They were out of the sake bombs, and the beer selection was subpar (considering there's a lot of options in the area). Food was reasonably priced and seemed made to order, but nothing special. Good to try once but probably won't come back (unless for Time Crisis 3)
Nothings cooler than eating and drinking in the same space in which your beer is made. I love stopping by here whenever I'm on first street and relieved that this business survived the pandemic. Always friendly service and great beer.
