What User doesn't like about The Table:
Our service was rushed. They brought out our entrees while we still had our salad and cheese plate on the small table. We were forced to squeeze a bunch of dishes on the table. View all feedback.
I’ve been at the Table for brunch a few times and have enjoyed their offerings. Service has always been good but this time I went there for dinner with my friend and I was not impressed with my food. I had the beef cheek and my friend had the pork. The beef was so salty while the pork was really dry. Our server that night had a very bad attitude and didn’t seem to be enjoying her job there. I’m hoping this was just a one time thing coz I really like the Table. I will go back for brunch coz they’re good, and hope that the server would be better next time.
Drinks should always come out before food. We had appetizers before drinks and salads when we had barely started our appetizers. We were only halfway through our cocktails at that time and the table was overcrowded with dishes. It was disappointing because it was a special occasion and the timing of the food coming out created stress instead of the relaxation we expect when dining out. The server was nice but obviously not trained in the timing of a meal. Ownership should be guiding management in the training of the servers.
The food was excellent. Service was a little slow but very attentive. It is Christmas week so they were pretty busy.
We had an outstanding dining experience and will definitely be coming back! We started off with a classic Bubs salad, which had just the right amount of anchovies to kick things off. I enjoyed the perfectly cooked Navarra lamb sirloin served with a mix of colorful baby carrots. For dessert, we indulged in a delightful chocolate pot de crème accompanied by a wonderful decaf espresso. Everything, including the service, was impeccable! An added bonus was the pleasant atmosphere; it wasn't as noisy as many restaurants these days, so we could have a relaxed conversation without having to raise our voices.
We were eager to try this restaurant, and I'm so glad we did! The food was excellent; I had the Ribeye special, while my wife enjoyed the mushroom risotto. We were a bit disappointed that they were out of the chocolate pot de crème, but we'll definitely be back to give it a try next time!
