This was my first experience with Bengali cuisine, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. We ordered the Kolkata fish fry made with Tilapia, and the marinade was very flavorful. We also tried the Pomfret in mustard sauce, which we absolutely loved. Overall, the food was delicious, and the ambiance was pleasant. I will definitely return.

This restaurant is one of the few places that truly captures the vibe and authenticity of Bengali cuisine. We were genuinely impressed by the food, the atmosphere, and the warm reception from the staff. Everything about this place felt just right, and I highly recommend it to everyone, especially Indians who are craving the flavors of Kolkata while in the US. We visited on December 31st, and despite the extremely limited staff, the owner kindly accommodated our request for 'Koraishuti-r kochuri' (Green Peas Puri). The staff were incredibly friendly and offered us excellent recommendations for some of their best dishes. We also tried the Mutton Dakbunglow, Prawn Malaikari, and Mustard Fish. Amazing host, wonderful ambiance, and outstanding flavors. This place offers an authentic taste that truly brings back the essence of Kolkata. It's perfect for a meal with plenty of great options.
