One of the best baklava I had in the bay area. Not dry like those you would find in regular shops, that was soft and sweet. The pistachios were sweet for my loved ones, loved the walnut and dated baklava. The cookie roll filled with appointments was also great. The Zaathar was brilliant, my wife said that it had grown the closest of the sheds in the Middle East. The beef cake was moderate. Super helpful staff that clarifies questions and helps you choose. They also carry fresh hummus, Babanoush etc. Looks like they also make big orders for events that request the counter.
I had my eye on this place for age groups, based on race reviews and high reviews. You tend to close pretty early, so I didn't get the chance to get it in. I could finally get it out to this place... They were also from a few things when I came here, not a good start... Bakery: Zaatar Cheese Pie 3.5/5 I'm not sure what a Zaatar is... but this cake is flavored like a thin pizza with herbs. I thought I tasted an oregano and thyme a fair piece. Chicken Pie 3/5 It's just okay for me. Infinitely edible, but nothing special or outstanding about the cake. It's also small. At $4.75 for a tiny cake that's just fine, I'll pass it the next time. I'm curious about the Beef version. Potatocake 3/5 That was okay. Nothing special, I added his hot sauce when I ate it. I'm not sure what the high ratings and rave reviews are about, maybe I found the wrong articles. I wouldn't try to come back here, I'd come by if it were convenient.
Possible my favorite bakery in the region. I think her baklava is the best in the area. I feel like it's not the same Al of time, but I see that as a sign of a unique local store:
Sfeeha, Baklava, Falafel and pita bread. So fresh !!
If you are a true Baklava fan, you will love coming here. Great selection , amazing flavors and quality . Also great collection of fresh pita, hummus, tabouli and other delicacies. I am definitely coming back here for more?
