Santa Fe Taqueria - San Jose

Taco Salad was really good. The Al Pastor was tough, though. I added Chicharrones El Salsa and it's not crispy like I expected (not sure if it was suppose to be), but still deliciously fatty. The taco salad shell was flaky and yummy too.. My partner said his California Burrito was good, though the fries were a little soggy like a lot of California burritos are. He also said the salsa for chips was good and can tell it's homemade. Great overall, but just a little of improvement would make it better.

Chile Verde Tacos was hard as rocks, couldn't even pull the meat apart with my hands nor teeth. it lacked flavor, and the fat had weird cartilage on it. it was flat-out disgusting and inedible. the Taco Salad was okay. the barbacoa had to flavor, I'm guessing they ran out and gave me carnitas instead. they were whole, I had tonshred them, there was a lot so I can't really complain. however the chicharones was not flavorful either and was sopping wet. the tortilla itself had a great crunch but there was a taste of old oil.

They even provided the salsa Verde and lime I requested!! My new regular burrito delivery spot! Old school traditional super burrito. Bomb

Been my favorite Mexican food place since I moved out here. Staff are cool; very homey at actual store and the food is ALWAYS good; whether pickup or delivery. Will forever recommend

My carne asada fries were soggy and the meat was over done. The bacon in my breakfast burrito was super soggy. The meat for my carnitas had a lot of fat and the meat was all stuck together in a clump,the meat didn't even have any flavor and was extremely dry. I regret my purchase. Me and my family are still hungry....it's just unfortunate.I wish I post a picture smh.
