I heard great things about their buffet and decided to stop by for a quick lunch during the week. Unfortunately, they only offer the buffet on weekends, so we opted to order some dishes to share instead. The service was impressively quick. Rating: 3.5 stars - an honest review. We ordered paneer masala and palak paneer. The paneer had a nice bouncy texture, but the paneer masala was just average. Unfortunately, the palak paneer was disappointing—it tasted overwhelmingly herbal, like something you might eat to cure an ailment, haha. Favorite local Indian spot. Finally made it to the restaurant after >100 deliveries.
Hands down one of the best indian restaurants in SJ. We got the Aloo tikki for an app, it came with an herb chutney and a sweet barbecue esque sauce. I got the butter chicken and garlic naan and my partner got the tikki masala and regular naan. Both dishes were full of flavor and spiced very well. The naan was light and airy, while simultaneously able to hold multiple pieces of chicken for an amazing combo bite. The rice was cooked perfectly as well. And the mango lassi was amazing as well. Sweet and creamy, plus the perfect way to take the heat of a spicy curry. Highly recommend.
