Although many dishes, like tapas and paella, receive high praise, inconsistency in food quality emerges, with some plates arriving lukewarm or bland. Service can be hit-or-miss; while friendly staff enhance the visit, delays are noted during peak times. Desserts also divide opinions, with traditional options preferable over non-Spanish offerings. Ultimately, this establishment shines on quieter days, making it a potential favorite for adventurous palates.
My favorite restaurant of all time! I would eat here every day if I could! The small restaurant is a great setting for a cozy meal with friends, but be prepared to eat a lot! The tapas are fantastic, the paella is incredible and the sangria goes great with both! The owners are from Seville and are super friendly and worldly. On Friday nights they have flamenco guitar! They also own a steakhouse on San Pedro Square with some of the same menu items and great steaks!
I have come here for years and know both current and former owners. The menu is awesome, and it’s a fun dining experience, especially when you bring folks who have never been! If you haven’t gotten down there, please go!
This restaurant serves authentic tapas dishes. I would recommend avoiding the chocolate cake, as it is not Spanish and was the only disappointing item on the menu. The flan, however, is a much better dessert option.
The food was ok. Appetizers were better than the main dish. I would say it better than your commercialized places (Cheese Cake Factory, BJs, etc) but it definitely not Moms and Pops places and/or a unique spot to dine, that is for sure. Ambience was good if you like a city like feel. Customer service was good and the place was clean. I would not recommend this place to a friend because price to value just doesn’t make much sense. There are far many more places with similar feel and level of customer service but much better quality of food.
Excellent. Food was outstanding, especially the chorizo. Service was fast and friendly. They sat us right away even though we got there way ahead of our reservation time. Definitely made my wife and I very happy, and made the night complete. Picasso’s set the bar high for all other restaurants that we’ve tried.
