What Karen Hamilton doesn't like about Pastelaria Adega:
Stepped in briefly to taste one of their pastel de nata. I enjoyed the blueberry one that I sampled. Staff explained that the bestsellers include the original, the passionfruit, and the hazelnut chocolate. Hard to compare to the ones I had adored in Lisbon, but for SJ, this is a good spot to grab them.Space is full of light, air conditioned, and modern. 6 two-top tables to choose from if you wish to dine in. Nice little place right off of 2nd and Santa Clara. I got the pastries to go but they held up pretty well in the heat. I loved the custard tarts but not so much the Malasada. Might be just that I'm not too much of a fan of Malasadas. View all feedback.
