Incredible. This restaurant captures the balance of Vietnamese food and delivers spectacularly. The chili oil and jalapeños are fresh, the dishes are delicious, and the people are great. Dine here. View all feedback.
What Chris Kolstad doesn't like about Mi La Cay:
Was suggested to try the M01 house special soup. Was less flavorful than plain chicken broth. The piece of chicken was a joint with little meat. It came with an uncleaned shrimp trapped in a crispy plate like Han Solo. Pretty inedible as it had clearly been sitting in the back and was not made fresh. I will not be back. View all feedback.
Amazing mì vit quay (roasted duck noodle soup) at this shop. Growing up in OC, I've always loved this restaurant so it was a major plus to know there was a location in the Bay Area too. All of the noodle soups here share their same signature broth which is very flavorful and fulfilling, especially on a cold day. Their roasted duck that comes with the noodles is always on point with a crispy skin texture and tender duck meat. I really love the pickled peppers they make as an accompaniment to the noodle soup. The owner and staff are super sweet and welcoming.
It's not good like it used to be very disappointing.
Dining room is dirty foods are decent and pricey not recommend to eat here go to 360 Chinese restaurant in Vietnamese town is the best
Such a wonderful family owned restaurant. Staff is always friendly and kind, especially Carolyn ! The fried shrimp wonton and fried rice are my usual orders, but their crisply chow mein is also great !
