Mcdonald's - San Jose

The staff at this restaurant used to mistreat me because of the people I associated with. The manager would ask me to leave shortly after purchasing my food and would even check my receipt. However, things have drastically improved now. The staff can truly shine now that the manager is no longer causing problems. I understand that he wanted to improve the atmosphere of the restaurant, but considering the location near the hospital, EPS, and methadone clinic, how much change can one realistically expect? Occasionally, the police catch people using drugs in the restroom. Despite this, this McDonald's is the perfect coffee spot for those on a budget. I absolutely love it. You can enjoy your coffee in peace, and sometimes you even witness interesting scenes like a pregnant woman walking nude outside of the establishment, followed by firetrucks, EMTs, and police arriving. There is never a dull moment - perfect for people watching!

The food is always fresh and the bread is never stale at this restaurant. I frequent this place for meals regularly.

I'm in here right now the Spanish manger and other assistant manager both latin Spanish woman working. There so busy but. Really professional. The best they try to get orders out. When it's really busy. The owner of this place should be happy to have them good workers. There good place

The McDonald's on Bascom Ave is consistently fast with the drive-thru service and with the ordering and receiving of food. The staff is amazing, always showing respect and a friendly attitude. I love coming here. The coffee is hot and you can customize it with however much cream and sugar you want. You can truly feel appreciated as a customer. Thank you to the staff for being so dedicated and for continuing to provide excellent service all these years. Your commitment is truly appreciated.

Just on a whim and because I was done checking out records nearby, I got lunch here. For awhile now the Land, Sea, and Air burger was calling to me, so I met her call and sailed out from this here McDo. First of all, technology is amazing. I used the fairly quick free WiFi to order the burger(? Through the mobile app. That way I was able to add a deal to cut $3. Upon sending it the folks at this McDonalds immediately started work, and it was in my grubby hands nigh 5 minutes later. Very fast and friendly service and the burger was great. Washed it down with some sweet ice tea which was also prepared correctly (some other McDonald's sugar content just does not taste right for this drink occasionally. The unique blend of seafood, land mammal, and bird was tasty AF, each leaving a subtle note long after the previous meat was consumed. It was pretty fire. I was also in the rigt state of mind which helped considerably. The near-perfect experience was detracted by the lack of heating in the lobby. It was so cold despite the sun shining through the windows. Land Sea air. A decadent experience.
