Bar/Card offers free parking and is family-friendly, making it a great choice for everyone. This small, family-owned Persian restaurant in San Jose, CA, serves quick and simple meals. It's the perfect spot for those who need a delicious grab-and-go option. The prices are reasonable, and the food is fantastic. While the menu selection is limited, that shouldn't deter you from trying their offerings. Overall, it's a gr... View all feedback.
What Brian C doesn't like about Isfahan Kabob:
Chicken kabob combo was okay. Beef is nicely seasoned but chicken was a bit tough. Grilled white meat is tough to pull off! 3.5/5Beef kubedeh wrap didn't have much meat so the raw onion really dominates the experience. If you have a healthy appetite, I suggest ordering something else or adding an appetizer. 2/5 View all feedback.
We honestly were not expecting to have a great experience, simply because the photos don’t do justice to this place. I would highly recommend for them to take new improved photos of each dish with good plate presentation, as well as offering more options on Doordash for each dish. Our drinks were all room temperature and we would’ve loved some nice cleanly washed herbs, as herbs are the staple of every Persian table. Now, as for the food portion and quality? Excellent my friends. They’ve surpassed Chellokebabi several folds.
Delicious shish kabob combo! The rice was moist and full. The meat was perfect! I definitely recommend this place! Parking is a bit of a challenge. I recommend parking on a little side street just south of the restaurant.
Food is tasty! Varied menu with plenty of choices. Reasonably priced. Service is great, however, parking is very restricted.
We ordered a group order for the family, two hours in advance on Door Dash. When the door dasher came to to pick our order, they told him him they are out of lamb and out of salmon. That's were 2 our 4 dishes. Then the Door Dash called me to choose what I want in place of unavailable lamb. I said beef is fine. The time already was around when we were expected the delivery. Then the Door Dash said the beef is not available either. I guess our Door Dasher left the restaurant by this moment, so we had to accept just two entrees instead of four. Saying disappointed in both Isfahan Kebob and Door Dash does not really really say it.
Ordered through DoorDash two hours ahead of time, dasher is picking up order and calls us that they don’t have lamb, they don’t have salmon, they have to switch our orders with other things. Queue the back and forth phone calls between dasher, door dash support and the restaurant itself. I don’t understand how we made an order two hours ahead of time and they only bothered to figure out they were low on ingredients when the dasher was picking it up. They have the ability to call DoorDash and/or call us to explain ahead of time they didn’t have some things. Terrible management it seems, not the dashers or doordash’s fault clearly a lack of competence in their management.
